Life after the tsunami

Grandmother Abe, a resident of Togura who become a widower when her husband died during the devastating earthquake and tsunami that hit the east coast of Japan in 2011, washes dishes at the family's prefabricated house in a neighbourhood used as temporary shelter for families who lost their homes during the disaster. On the third anniversary of the disaster, nearly 270,000 remain displaced.
